In the process of releasing my 'Self', it holds sway yet..long ago the delusions of the Consciousness were realised, no longer is my Consciousness at odds with what I see, experiences are reality based and I no longer turn away from some which seem or are perceived as 'bad' seeing them as experiences which are inherently impermanent was the first step, to me the most difficult to both understand and then to realise....

To me, this "Self" should be discarded as a distraction to the real "Me", the effort to rid it continues....

Once rid, concentration can be focused on developing Wisdom and Morality through a freed rather than fettered Mind...

This is where effort is focused, ever vigilant for opportunities for Practise...

Huh? I'm on the straight and narrow road right now. The steps of a righteous man are ordered of the Lord. God's word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my pathway. God's word have I hid in my heart that I might sin against him. Let the meditations of my heart and the words of my mouth be pleasing and acceptable to God. Though God slay me yet will I praise Him. Let this mind which is in you be also in Christ Jesus. Judge not lest ye be judged. Whatever you would have men do unto you, do ye likewise.

I am a summation of that and more.

I've just solved a riddle. I remembered a concept from my youth; pinball machines tilt. It's not exacly zen, but, our minds need to halt sometimes. 'How far is up?', a question that arrests rational thought. 'What is the square root, of a negative number?', the solution is imaginary numbers. So to, is this Ouija/yahoo realm. Imagine there's no heaven, and no limit to yahoo memory...

Just being. I'm learning that I don't "have to do anything" to "know". It's just there. The higher dimensions are opening to me and it hasn't taken any effort on my part. It's so cool! When you make the decision to "wake up" the universe hears you and responds. It's as simple as that and I was trying so hard. lol!
