Actually the white part under the peel is rich in riboflavins. The only citrus you eat the peel is the kumquat.

The oils in the citrus peels are flammable and are great for cleaning with.

i dont think its good for eating - its a peel.
i think it has a lot of chemicals and everything else that has been close to oranges

not so sure you should.

I know that dried orange peel is a common flavoring for desserts, icing and gelatin.

As to the pt of eating it, not so sure.

it has the same fiber and vitamins and the rest of the orange does
the bitterness is to keep away small animals who wouldn't be able to spread the seeds of the fruit as well as larger animals
