I was a good kid growing up good average to above average grades, was very spritutal and at 16 I was vistited with mental illness. I could not hold a job until my 20s because I did not have the stamina and strength, But God has repayed me for the years the locuts have eaten.

My teen years were hard and although I had friends they all walked out of my life when I became a Christian.

I am now in my late 30s and things are better than ever, my hearts desire is to bless others the way God has blessed me what would be a good way to do this?

Did you have a hard life growing up and then as you got older things got better? Did this help you become stronger?

Yes. As a kid, I was beaten, abused and neglected. I spent some time in juvenile jail. Before I graduated high school, two brothers and my mother died. My alcoholic father killed himself while I was at school one day, leaving me an orphan with nowhere to go. But despite all this, I always worked very hard at my studies, and graduated at the top of my high school class. I'm now an honors student in college. I hold two jobs and work hard. Things are looking up, and the older I get, the more I achieve. I'm looking forward to grad school. Life's going nowhere but up. God has blessed me richly.

When I was younger, I used to do things that I'm not proud of right now. I was doing things without listening to my conscience, without thinking about my morals. Several events happened before I began to realize that what I was doing wasn't right. So I began researching my religion a little deeper, began to learn how to pray, and I read some chapters of The Quran. I began to try do things for the sake of God instead of for myself. Thank God, I am now more religious and I hope to God I die a true Muslim.
