I do not believe we are born as bad people. Look at the children and how innocent they are. Jesus said that in Mark " Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."
I think that it is very serious hindering of these little children when called them sinners before they have had a change to do anything that we could call sins, in clear mind. I know my view is not very popular.

This original sin issue is bothering me. I believe that it is something that churches have done to us. Imagine King David, he did horrible things but when He repented and asked forgiveness from God...did God continue calling him a sinner: NO. God called him as a "man after God's own heart".
Sin is just that we are separated form God's will for us. How could baby possibly be guilty of that, no way. We are also sinners in the means that we are not God...DUH. I know that I am not God, but I do not know that of course right from the beginning ( as a baby ).
I do not think we should concentrate to much on these "in-born" sins. We all fall short form the glory of God and we fall even when we think of sinful things ( Wishing some one dead, planning to lie, not being grateful for our life at all times etc. ). These all sins are named so that we would not boast.
If I was the last person in the world, I think I would still think about Clive Owen the way I should not.
I think that we are not truly born with any sins because God has designed us, but we are born into the sinful world and we are not able to be uncontaminated by the sin. We all need Jesus to wash us free from sins.

good question man... The original sin was disobedience to what God had told Adam and Eve: "don't eat of this tree". We are born as sinners, we are not born with any "sins" but rather with the ability to sin. You just worded your question wrong. But I think that's what you meant. You listed some of the 10 commandment, which disobeying them is sinful... but being the last person on earth would never happen anyways. Peace, Love, and War!

You seem to believe that being/doing bad is sinful. Your question also assumes that being a sinner is the same as doing something sinful. It also assumes that doing something sinful means one is sinful. Even if I were born with sin, it really doesn't matter in this present moment. But if I were the last person on this planet and were sinful then I guess I would be sinful. If doing sinful things made me sinful and the things listed were, indeed, sinful then I could kill myself, delude myself, take away what I most enjoy, and become obsessed with some idealized form of myself instead of who I really am.

we are not born 'as' sinners... we are born 'into' sin.
Sin is the state of things. Sin ENTERED the world and applied itself to everything - including future generations.
Because of sin, our free will is AFFECTEd and we become sinners.
There is no escape. How soon we become sinners after birth is not hard to witness....
the point is, if I were the last person on this earth - I would STILL be a sinner, but I would be saved by grace....
excellent question Markyyy -
blessings :)

We are all born as sinners mean that we are not like God.
You can still murder and steal and commit adultery by thoughts, and you can lie to yourself and for God etc.
It is not a sin that we are born, it is just we are equipped the way that God protects us until the age of accountability, but then after that the free will kick in and opens the door for the evil.

The original sin of Adam and Eve:Rebellion against God.That also includes self-righteousness.Their are christian fast read booklets on this in christian bookstores,if you really want to see where God describes original sin
Also, why all our good works are counted as filthy rags,as God said they are in the bible. All sin comes out from an unchanged sin blackened heart,it's like having an evil virus. But when a person asks Jesus into their hearts, repents of their sins, and accepts him as Lord. They get a brand new heart that only wants to do good. But until that happens we all will continue to obey the evil disires to sin,and are capable of all sins.

Matt.15: 18-19 “But those things which proceeds out of the mouth come from the heart. And they defile a man. For out of the hearts proceed evil thoughts, murders, adultery, fornication, theft, false witness, slander.”
All these things come from the heart.(spiritual heart).....Our hearts and minds are what God wishes to change...Even if there were no outlet for practicing sin...the willingness to do so if presented the opportunity would be there...That is why we need to put on the Mind of Christ,to change our sin nature to that of His will....It takes time....using the channels of reading the Word, prayer and even fasting are the keys.
The Bible says that he that looks on a woman to lust after her,has already commited adultery in his HEART(this means that you would if you could, have relations with a married woman).

Could.
Porn. That is considered a sin, for the eyes lust and commit adultery so one could there. Then there is still the order of disobeying God, the last person could do that. Adam and Ever simply got in trouble for not listening.
