I believe the only law concerning religion should be the one that says government and religion should not mix. Their should be no interference, no favortism.

Are you talking about religious laws of the church or the laws of the country?
If you are talking about the laws of the country, then the answer is No, it is not fair.
Even if the laws were designed to favor my own beliefs, I would not want people forced into following my religion. The reason is that people would do it out of requirement, rather than from the heart. My God is one who loves everyone enough to give them the choice to follow him.

It's not fair. Keep the ten commandments out of a federal courthouse and I will keep secular humanists out of your church.
Same goes for early abortion bans, anti-cohabitation laws, censorship of major radio/tv channels, anti-prostitution laws, prayer in public school, and laws to ban equal treatment of gays.
Live and let live. This isn't Saudi Arabia or Tehran.
Liberty=
Freedom until it infringes on the freedom of others.

Laws should be secular, and neither endorse or restrain religious viewpoints.

Hope they say NO to this.
Otherwise all the whining about democracy and freedom by Bush will turn fake.
