Here are the web links for citizenship & permanent residence.
Short story, it requires a skill that is in demand or family that is here already.

Yes. You would have to check with the U.S. State Department.
During the Clinton administration,a news report said that the U.S. has no immigration laws.
However,in 1791 ( about) Congress passed immigration laws for citizenship:
1. Must be able to read, write, and speak the english language well enough to understand a conversation.
2. Must reside in the U.S. for 7 years.
3. No criminal record.
4. Take an oath of allegiance to the U.S. and renounce citizenship and loyalty to your former country.
5. Knowledge of American government.
Race and sex has nothing to do with applying for citizenship.
The U.S. is the only country in the world where a person can come from another country with their customs and traditions and fit in,because of its mixture of races and cultures throughout the U.S. history.
You can learn to read, write and speak french, get french citizenship, but you won't have the customs and culture of the french that will make you a true french citizen.
You must enter the U.S. legally.

you have to have permanent residence first, but you can go to uscis.com to check out the options. There are also student visas, but they are just while you are in school.

My Dad used to live in Hawaii. They have a university there. You might want to look into that in a year or so.

WHY in the world would you want to?
Do you really want to be saddled paying off Bushie's war debt?
And if you want a good-paying job, you'll need to go to Mexico; that's where all ours went.
Good Lord, Girl...I'll trade places with ya!
