I have the option to go to Jacksonville, Florida. Is JAX a nice place to live? I heard mixed opinions, some said high crime rate and boring and some said it's ok. Also do they have any good trance or house clubs?

The city is actually very beautiful, yet unbelievebly dead looking on the weekends. The plus about living there is St. Augustine is very near by, a great little town known as The First Coast, it was founded in 1543, lots going on there and very historical and intriuging. It's only about 25 minutes away from Jacksonville.

Basically the high-crime rate happens in the Northside of the area, a.k.a. "the ghetto"......

Jacksonville is more like a business city than a leisure one.

It depends on how people look at boring. If you're thinking about attractions and tourists traps, yes it is boring. On the flip-side, it is fun with nature. There are many walking trials, bike trails, beaches, state parks, wetlands, and a lot of historical history and places around this area.

I don't know anything about music around jax, bt i'm sure there's plenty.....
