Hinduism and Buddhism are purely names and labels, which are harmless. The real threat is PEOPLE and the nature of being ignorant.

The roots of evils are also to be found in oneself, and effort must be contributed in order to discover it.

I think you have already fallen to being a prey of ignorance and pride... one of the biggest threat to humanity.

I hope you'll stay out of it and keep yourself to the right path!

Actually, the gratest threat to humanity is a cosmic event that would destroy Earth or make it uninhabitable. There's worse things than nuclear winter.
