hmmm, doggybag300... thx for the input. i see your point about lumping everyone together. intresting. the book of dan says that the antichrist would come worshiping a god of force one that his fathers knew not... i'm really not affraid of catholics seeing how i stand up to them and uncover their lies, to their face! if i follow a god i guess it would have to be one of balance...

I hope not. I don't think the world would let that happen. But sometimes I wonder too. It scares me.

I'm a Christian and a conspiracy nut, (in the light of bible prophecy). The word I get is when the Catholic church regains it's it's position as a world power, look out! Here come the Jesuits. And they are going after us heretics,(those of us who aren't Catholic). And their history of torture and murder puts them right up there with those Muslim extremists. As if we didn't have enough to worry about already. But hey dude, don't lump all the Christians together on that. Even the rank and file Catholics don't know what's going on.

Well, anything is possible. The other side of the coin is this, though: How many Christians are killed every year simply because of their beliefs?
It would probably be useless to try and do the math, since accurate numbers probably don't exist, but I wonder historically who has killed more of whom. Have more Christians died for their beliefs, or have more people been killed by Christians? Maybe I should post that as a question!

The evils of the past, brought about by those claiming to do their wicked deeds in the name of God/Christ, are unfortunately part of a sad human history, based upon ignorance and intolerance. While we no longer burn people at the stake and set about on crusades, we still have people in this world who do despicable things in the name of God and they hurt countless people in the process. Putting people to death by the legal system is not so much a Christian idea as it is a legal one. Governments the world over sanction the death penalty as a form of punishment for a crime - not so much out of religious ideology, although religion certainly does play a part in some cultures.
Christians are divided on the concept of the death penalty. We can be unified in our belief that Christ is God's Son and that He died to save us from our sins so we could live in Heaven forever with Him without having to "earn" our way to Heaven, but that doesn't mean we have to agree with each other on everything. We practice our beliefs differently from one another and to varying degrees. Some of us are very conservative while others are more liberal in our thinking and practices. I do believe though that for those of us who support the death penalty, it is not because we believe in the taking of lives - it is because we don't, and we believe that when someone takes a life, their life should be surrendered in payment for their crime. Christians generally are against murder in any form, which is why so many of us are Pro-Life. Still, many of us believe that God does allow for instances where killing is somewhat justified - that is in self-defense, to protect someone else, and as punishment for a severe crime.
We live in an enlightened age and are not dictated by irrational and superstitious fears of the unknown, like many of our predecessors. I saw a very cool bumper sticker today. It had various religious symbols to represent the varying religions out there. Each symbol was shaped to form a letter, and the letters spelled the word "coexist". Basically, while we may be passionate in our beliefs and wish that others would believe as we do, and while we may believe that the only way to get to Heaven is through Jesus Christ, we would never stoop to hastening someone along to meet Jesus by taking their life because of our beliefs. That is sinful and we wouldn't do it. Those who would could not really be called Christians, in the true sense of the word.

Good possibility, because Those supposed Christians are under the influence of the Ruler of the World , SATAN.
So even if they think they are doing Gods work. because of their false religious beliefs they are doing Satan's work, and HE is a really powerful spirit creature bent on Hate and Division

If they do it'll be a religious free-for-all. Muslims killing Christians killing Atheists ect. It'd be a regular bloodbath.
They won't take me without a fight that's for sure.
