Being a former JW's raised in that religion as a baby for over 30 years..Then as an adult researching to see if what I was taught was truth or not..then getting out of the religion after YEARS of reserch and praying..I would bet my last and only dollar that they do count their time. They count their time if they mention it while on the phone with someone..They are obsessed with counting their time. I now talk to people all the time about God and Jesus and it isn't about keeping up with your time. It comes from the heart.

Dear Hairdresser Extrordinare,

I remember View From a Horse's question which Anna mentioned. There was a variety of answers to him and elsewhere with some saying no they don't, to others who said they count it as Casual witnessing or something to that effect.

Check View's profile for his excellent questions and answers.
Thanks for giving the link, Anna!

For His glory,

hmm well i dont think that they should do that, but i'm sure that a good majority of them do, otherwise why would they spend so much time online when they should be out knocking on doors doing the real witnessing work?

I'm not a JW, but why would you ask such a question. JWs work, go to school, shop, cook, vote. Gosh they're just like normal people. What are you thinking?

well i know that Jw's do have time cards, and as for counting their time online answering questions, well they are not suppose to, but whether they do or not no one knows but them and God.

You bet they do! That flies in the face of what the Bible tells us about salvation

no.
There are no 'timecards', as no one is being 'paid' for the buying out of time to preach.
JW's freely give of their time to seek out those who are wanting to know the truth.
