Take an aptitude test to see what you're suited for. The counseling service at the college probably gives them.

You still have time to decide. Knock out your core courses & keep taking the math & computer related course with other electives that seem interesting to you. Your college will assign you an advisor to help guide you through course planning & would get a great source for career ideas.
Its likely something in Engineering, Science or Computer Sciences will emerge. All of these areas do pay well, but over the long run if you get the chance to do what you love & what you do best everyday you'll have a wonderful career.

I'd start off taking your college requirements. There should be a place on campus where you can research careers. I know that the college I went to had a center for researching careers. You can enter college as an "Undetermined Major" until you decide what you want to major in. Hope this helps! Good luck!

Keep your options open!
I went to a university that insisted first year studies cover a general humanities program. It was very broadening.
I knew I liked math & computers, & took those gradually.
Even within the computer field there are many specialties:
Programming, Database, Security, Testing, Networks, etc.
If you're good at any of these, they all pay well.
The Internet is exploding with new millionaires.
But you have to be bright & enthusiastic!

i became in an analogous difficulty for the duration of final 300 and sixty 5 days, i became going to so study engineering and that i ended analyzing political technological know-how and that i could no longer be happier with my decision. I basically did no longer seen in basic terms my traits (they're necessary of direction), yet I additionally seen which occupation became a extra useful tournament for my character besides. So my suggestion is: decide for something which you will take excitement in analyzing and which you're sturdy at, yet continually have a plan B. even in the journey that your mom tells you to get a occupation which will make you wealthy she needs you to be happy well-known. The paintings occupation could make money, yet it incredibly is incredibly not it incredibly is objective (a minimum of it won't be), and it incredibly is volatile, yet i might take the possibility.

As far as math, there is engineering, which involves creativity and LOTS of advanced calculus. Engineers have one of the highest entry level salaries, so you'll be well off if you go that route, but it is hard work.
As for computers, there is always computer science. They pay well, and college computer major graduates have decreased in recent years, so they're definitely in demand.

Computer engineering or E/ET (electronic/elecrical engineering technology) and get your CISCO certification. That is what my boyfriend is doing and he will make good money. You can do it in 2-3 years too. Good luck.
