The person you believe said that didn't say that. Those words and all the NT were written by people who weren't even born when that person was alive. It's all a hoax.

The correct quote is here:
"Fear me; I am the first and the last; and, behold,
I am alive for evermore,
and have the keys of hell and of death."
(Book of Eurebius 4:2-3)
It is an occult term. And you use words you do not completely understand. Non-Christian means everyone who is not Christian. Those who use this quote believe in god. Because these are the words if the devil. Who believes in the devil must believe in god as well. It is just a difference in viewpoints.
Christianity is just a religion. If you follow this religion, you blindly accept what the Holy Bible claims and you shouldn't even listen to those occult guys, who try to prove that god is only a boy with an ant-farm.
I do not believe in any gods, so for me this means nothings.

THe person who the New Testament identifies as Jesus of Nazareth said that. However, did you know that there are at least 16 other traditions of "saviors" who died and rose again to "save" their people that came wayyy before the Jesus myth? These include:
Osiris (Egyptian "son" of God)
Quexalcote (Mexico)
Quirinus (Rome)
Prometheus/Aeschylus (Caucasus..that's where your people are from)
Mithra (Persia)
Krishna (India)
Indra (tibet)
to name a few. most of these were known by the early Christians and by the men who formed the Council of Nicea where the Christian doctrine was solidified. You remember the Nicene Creed, don't you. "I believe in God the Father Almighty Maker of Heaven and Earth and all that is seen and unseen (first point of doctrine. God is male and created all things) and in Jesus Christ His Only SOn, Our Lord (second, although everyone knew of others who claimed to be the son of this male God, the Niceans proclaimed him the only one (hence the verse you quoted)) who was born of the Virgin Mary (third point, like the heros and Gods before him, Jesus too was born of a Virgin), suffered under Pontius Pilate (again, establishing which of the many who satisfy the above criteria they are referencing), was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. (Again, like many of the Gods before him...Remember the stories of Persephone and her daughter and Orpheus and Euridice from Greek mythology?). On the third day he arose from the dead. He ascended into heaven (like many gods before him as well AND Elijah and Enoch )...blah blah. he will come to judge the living and the dead.
Sorry for the loose paraphrase if this is your actual belief. Jesus fills the same requirements of hero and god archetypes the world over. The question is "why do you take an archetype so seriously?"
As for the last part of your question, look up the Greek practice of the Scapegoat. Christianity teaches that this is what Jesus did. Why would Jesus be reinforcing the tenets of a pagan practice? A life for your soul...the whole world for your soul? Blood.

can you say... lake of fire... big enough to swallow hell... just think about it for a while...burning flesh your own and you never die... it is just torment for ever... what in the world....
Have you ever heard the saying... I'd rather live my life like there was a God and find out there wasn't, then live my life like there wasn't a God and find out there was...
this does not answer your questions... I was just thinking about it!
