i want one when i learn to drive but i want a car with a horn, so do they have a "meep-meep" or a "WOOOAH-WOOOAH"???

I changed all of my (Classic) Beetles over to dual KarmannGhia horns. Gave them that great "Big-buck Import" sound.

Their horns have character!!!! In fact, the whole car has character!!!!!!!!! I do not have one, but I want one (one of the classic ones) and When I get my junkyard bug, I will restore it to it's former glory, and then buy me an airbrush painter to paint the whole thing. It will be painted with many different murals, for example, on the passenger side door, there will be a scene of a tropical beach, with me surfing, even though I have never surfed in my life. And a bunch of stuff like that. I like the idea about the ladybug, though...
And if you don't like the horn, you can probably go to a shop and get it changed.

i have a 71 superbeetle. horn kinda sounds like a mosquito lodged in your ear.... pretty much a meep meep horn. definitely NOT an aaaaoooogah horn.

It's a little German car with a BIG German horn! My boyfriend has a Honda with a little, girly horn - and he's jealous of the manly horn that my little Bug has. HAHA
I love my VW. I got it used, but in amazing condition. It has a lot of clever features.

I own a 1972 Super Beetle, and it has a very loud horn.

My New Beetle's factory horn is loud too, but not obnoxiously so. Packs some authority, but with style.

They have a whimpy horn.
On a side note, JC Whitney sells the 'Roadrunner' horn if you really want a "meep meep".

I want one too!! I either want a red one with little spots to look like a lady bug or one of the green ones with the little magnetic daisies and daisy hub caps.

Horrid CAR! I have one. Chromaflair color RARE color 2003 it has a beep beep nothing like its gonna jump the person infront of you too move. i hate beetles. i'm waiting till the warranty goes out on my car, to get the hott MAZDA RX8! WOO.
