Best place to get at tattoo that is easy to hide?

Question

Ok so, if you have read any of my other questions, you know that my best friend shot himself in february, and his parents and i have been talking about getting his favorite band creed's emblum as a tattoo, now they can do it any where the want, but my parents are like NOOO tattoo's ever kinda people, his parents will sighn for me, i just want to know where the best place to get it is... HELP

BTW this isnt just some thoughtless tattoo, i know exactly what i want and its no bigger than a playing card, maby smaller...its a big deal to me...

DO NOT GET THE "TRAMP STAMP" your parenst will see that eventually. lower backs on girls get flashed whenever they MOVE.

try the hips. it's sexy and well hidden... and not TOO overdone these days.

between your shoulder blades is good too, unless you wear halter tops.

it really depends on the type of clothing you wear. i have a tattoo on the top of my foot and no one saw it until summer and i got it 2 januarys ago.
and also if your not 18 i would wait until you are.
When i got my tattoo my parents were very anti tattoo but they realized now that its done they cant really do anything about it.
----> now places: hips is always good, your pants should cover it. I'm not a big fan of the tattoo on the butt thing but that is a place that your parents will never see it. and i mean it also depends on the lenghts to which you want to hide it...if u get it on your shoulder you can wear a tank top out with friends but wear tee shirts at home with ur parents.

You shouldn't get a tattoo in a certain place who's function is only to hide it. Yeah, I know parents can be a pain in the *** when it comes to tattoos, but it's wrong to get something that means a lot to you in a place that you don't necessarily want just so it's easily hidden over a place that you really really want the tattoo. See my point? They're your parents, not the rulers of your life, so be your own person.

And what's this about his parents signing for you? In most states, you have to be 18, period, even if every member of your family is there to sign the ok. I don't know if it's like that in every state though...

It's permanent. Get it in a spot that YOU want. Good luck!

Im so sorry to hear about your friend. A Tattoo is a great way to remember him. If you want to hide it, i think on the back of your neck, or behind your ear would be best cause you could cover it with your hair if its long enough. Or you could get it on your wrist, and wear alot of bracelets. The Bottom of you foot would work too, but might make you walk weird while its healing. Also anything that is normaly covered with clothing is a good idea.

With a girl, it is always hard to hide a tattoo, it depends on how you wear clothes. Do you like wearing sandles in the summer? Do you wear tank tops?

Pick a place you will always hide from them, maybe your lower back, and make sure you don't wear short shirts or bend over in front of them where your back might show. Also have to think about being in a bathing suit around them and possibly exposing it.....

Then again you could use a butt cheek and they wouldn't see it, at least I would hope.

My advice would be don't get the tattoo done and wait till your 18. I got my first tattoo at 16 at a tattoo party. I thought I could hide it from my parents but in the end they found out and **** load of trouble. I have a feather behide my ear. Really just wait till your 18. I understand the whole well someone died and memory but I did mine for my cousin who died in decemeber. But at 18 you will still be able to have that memorial still

okay, I think it is a really BAD idea to get a tattoo of a bands icon, this is something that you will have to live with your whole life. That said if you must do it, you have a few choices here:
1. do it and tell you parents to mind their own business
2. put it on your @@@ where they will not likely see it
3. put it on your leg & wear pants all summer
BTW - I do have a tattoo in rememberance of someone, but only I know what it means - it makes it more personal

PS- remember, when you are old, things WILL sag, stretch & become distorted - think hard on the placement & design!

No tat place, if they are worth anything, will take a written
permission slip, if you are underage. Parent or legal guardian
has to be there.
In other words, if your parents find out, the guy that did the tat can be sued....and if you are in a state that the tattooist must have a license.........he could loose it, then that's not good for you.....if you know what I mean.
I don't know how old you are, but if you wait and still feel the same when you're old enough, the place to get it would be on your butt or in front, under the bikini line.

All heart tattoos should go over the heart for obvious reasons. The chest is the easiest place to hide a tattoo, you just have to keep your tops buttoned up.
