basically me and my now ex av split up after 7 years we were very happy always fair enough we had are fair few arguments but what relationship doesnt and over the last couple of weeks shes been a bit weird with me and not knowing how she feels 4 me now 2day i come home frm work and shes askd 2 speak 2 me and she said that its over between us i asked why and she said that its because she does love me but shes not in love with me which i dnt understand and we also have an very good looking 11 week old daughter which i think maybe the cause of this all (post natal depression) could some 1 shine a little light on the subject as to what does (oh i do love you but im not in love with you anymore ) and what the signs are for post natal depression are plz help me as my head is a complete mess cause of this ? thanks

Have she been checked out by the GP or Health Visitor? There are lots of symptoms and everyone suffers differently. For example, constantly feeling tired even though had plenty of sleep, thoughts about harming baby, feeling not good enough to be a mother, hiding true feelings and putting on brave face, lack of appetite, disinterest in sex etc. There are lots of websites dedicated to PND. Please be supportive, my hubby wasn't when I admitted I was blue.I think you have done the wrong thing by leaving her but I also believe you could with some help yourself, as men can succumb to something similar!

The main sign is avoidance of the baby,
Being unable to sleep , or wanting to sleep all the time,
Not feeling hungry,
Very irratable, and restless
When I had it with my daughter, I also had a fear of things not being clean around her,
I was incredibly overprotective
