Leave him. My first husband lost his job & stayed on unemployment for 16 months total. I lost all respect for him. He spent his entire severance package on antique toys from the 60s.
A man has to have a sense of fiscal responsibility & know how to support himself. Otherwise, you take over the role of his mommy & he'll let you support him forever.
Find someone who's mature, financially sound, fiscally responsible. Good luck.

Well you have two clear choices here, support the lazy bum the rest of the time you are together,
Or get rid of him.
If you choose to get rid of him, I am sure that you can find another guy that will respect himself and you enough to hold a job.
