How old are you that you can't handle a dissenting opinion? This isn't the "Christian only" forum.

Read Yahoo's definition of a troll. Atheism, like theism is a belief system. One believes there is an ultimate source of all things, one does not. Not believing is hardly comparable to troll activity, although any of us here could descend to such behavior. We need opposing views in the discussion. We need a variety of viewpoints, a variety of understandings of reality. We are all enriched by it. Consider differing viewpoints as the intellectual gene pool: the more diverse, the more robust the species. If there weren't already some very decent, honorable, amazingly intelligent atheists here, I would pose as one just to get people to think about their thinking. You'll have to decide yourself if that's trolling!

Well, I am not sure what a Troll is on R&S, but it seems like they missed one (hint hint).

I am not ashamed or afraid of my Christian stance and I find most Atheist questions to be a wonderful way for me to sharpen my sword. Not to cut them down, but to refine the way I think and not to simply believe the word of God rather know it, study it and defend it.

God is not afraid of Atheists either. In fact I do not think God minds an honest question or even true disbelief. However, all will be held accountable for the answers he gives. So, be it Atheist, Christian, or Troll listen carefully.

Go ahead and block us. I am not a troll, but a thoughtful, funny, kind person who likes to discuss religion and philosophy. If you miss my answers its your loss. I think you will find most atheists on here are worth talking to.

There is no reason why atheists should be blocked, and yes, there is a difference. If people want to abuse the system and block people just because they don't agree with what they say, I suppose that's inevitable. Ignorant, but inevitable.

Trolls seem to come in three varieties.
There are atheist trolls, who come online to bash and bait Christians, or any people of faith. I suppose they are hoping to enlist other people to their camp with this behavior...and, hey, it just might work for them. They're getting plenty of help from the other two groups, unfortunately...
Then there are Christian trolls, usually fundies, who come to bash and bait atheists, especially those who are religious in their devotion to evolution and other "science", and to bait and bash homosexuals. I will be blocking those from now on, they annoy me. As someone has pointed out, they hit closer to home, because they make MY beliefs look bad.
And, there are Muslim trolls, who are here to get a rise out of Christians, and usually do.

Too bad the troll list doesn't actually block anything. But you're going on it anyway.

Atheists have an aura of awesomeness that Trolls don't.

What exactly is a troll? I thought it was a big ogreish thing out of the Harry Potter movies...............and if someone chooses to be an atheist, who should they be blocked for that?

If the atheists are blocked I won't be back.
