It's sick!
I was watching a football game with my son a couple of months ago. It was just a game of tackling and men trying to force their wills on their enemy men.
It was a good and pure experience, with all sorts of physical action and drama. Then it was ruined.
The cheerleading team was leading people to sin over and over. It's sick. You are watching this game of future leaders of our new generation, men who lead other men into battle and understand their leadership role in the world. Other men understand this and love it.
Then these women come into play and tempt all these men and women away from good things. There are cameras out there, and these women who have legs that don't quit run out there and do cartwheels. It's sick! I left at halftime, because I didn't want that kind of stuff in my mind anymore. I can't deal with people who lead me to sin, and Jesus is my tourniquet.

Who are you to determine the religion of a person in a crowd? On the contrary, the major problems of the world are caused by the fanatically religious.

Oy vey. Oy vey. Oy vey.
Is there even a remote possibility that you would consider this thought: Other people cannot lead another person into sin. If the cheerleaders activities were a temptation to you, if you felt it sinful, if you plain didn't like it, is it the cheerleaders fault?
Sin, like faith, is personal. I cannot make another person believe anything. I cannot force another person to commit a sin.
Is it possible that all of the fault for the sin rests with you?
Seriously, I am just asking - I am not pointing any fingers or being rude. Just something I was wondering about and thought you might answer.
Blessed Be!

WOw man, it sounds like someone's crazy already. If by future leaders you mean future Wal-MArt assisitant managers then yes, I agree with you. Girls are only showing what god gave them. If you contemplated the early age at which most girls lose their virginity these days, you probably wouldn't get so upset about thigh flashing cheerleaders. Men don't need to be tempted to sin. Morality without having to face temptation is a weak unsteady morality. True moral people can be faced with temptation and over come it easily. Only the weak are tempted to the point of madness.

Don't worry about Colton, Christians; he's not your yardstick by anyone with half a brain.
Dude, "legs that don't quit?" Sounds like a man with an appreciation fixtation. Tourniquets kill. First aid now bans them as you can lose an appendage. You should be considering this anal-ogy risky at best.
Edit: Oh, that's Colson...opps!

Well here's an idea... when the cheerleaders do their thing go run out on the playing field naked and shake your saggy @ss. That will surely help save people from the sin.
Surely you are only being sarcastic with this posting... I mean, us non believers having cheerleading squads, and maybe football teams even (like they never touch each other's butts...or is that baseball).

*hits the speed dial for the funny farm preferably spring grove* They will be sure you take your medication. Did you not notice the word CHEER in front of leader? They are to give their team spirit to and the boost needed to feel like they can really play the game. Man are you off your hinges... I must say I feel embarrassed for his religion he's rallying and supporting..

I find it worse when both teams pray to win, do they think God cares who wins? If one team beats the other does that mean he loves that team more?
Also the games are usually on Sunday, for me that is a day to think abotu God not watch sports.
Also when you turn on the TV almost all commercials and shows have some sexual pun or immodest behavior, even the dairy queen commercials are sexual.

To an extent I agree but, I think in this instance you have a problem reconciling with the fact that you yourself are sinful and your seeing your sin in others and it just might not be there. You better look a little harder and find the Pride that is rampant in you too.

the terrorists who crashed the World Trade Center, they are religious
the Nazis who killed all the Jews, they are religious
the Chinese who killed all 'socialites' in the Chairman Mao era, they are religious
Polpot who massacred over 2 million of his own ppl, he's religious...
but all for different religions, different faith, different belief.
a sin is not a sin if u don't think of it as 1.
