Was wondering which ground have you noticed gives you thumbs down the most? If I answer a question with more of an athiest view I get a lot of thumbs down. But if its a religious point of view I don't get as many. There for either their are less athiest here than religous people, or religious people are more judgemental. Your thoughts?

AWWWW I fell for it. I am so dumb. Julia the Peculiar said religious people are more judgmental. And I did not agree with that. So I gave her a thumbs down....before I even realized I was helping to prove her point. Dumb!

I think that believers are more apt to give thumbs-down, simply because it's a more sensitive subject to them. It really bothers some people to hear others express disbelief in something that means so much to them. I'm not saying it's always right to give thumbs down every time someone disagrees with your beliefs...that can be immature. I don't give thumbs-down to everyone who says something I disagree with, but I will for things that are direct insults or blatantly wrong answers. (ex: "Atheists don't believe in God because they don't want to have to be held accountable to anyone for their actions." and nonsense like that that was made up by someone who has no idea what atheists think, feel, or believe.)

It depends on how debatable the subject is. Abortion topics, I always get thumbs down. Coming from a pro-life point of view.
Someone could tell the complete truth and get a thumbs down. People must not like the truth or something.

If I don't agree with someone I don't automatically thumbs down. The only time I thumbs down is when I KNOW people are giving inaccurate advice especially in the pregnancy section.

Why are you in any respect shocked by technique of this? in basic terms like having fans in each and every faith, you will even have nervous xenophobes keen to do something to take the "different" down. certainty is, i'm giving them plenty greater credit than they deserve. in certainty, to grant a thumbs down in step with call by myself is tantamount to disassociating your self from everyone who isn't comparable to you in race an ethnic foundation. that form of interest is plenty from psychological brilliance. that's the diametric opposite. Moronic in certainty. certainly all human beings come into this airplane of existence at distinctive tiers of progression. all of us ought to discover ways to stay with people who're plenty added down the food chain - besides as those closer to the suited. with a bit of luck, all human beings would be aiming at moving a sprint bigger on that religious ladder. regrettably, many don't.

LOL....I speak a Christian view and get very few thumbs up by ANY group :)
Even when I do get a "best answer", I notice I usually haven't any thumbs up OR down.....usually...yet asker chose me!
I HAVE noticed that quite a few that are not Christian have "blocked" me though....oh well, that's the way it goes!
Peace be with you :)

Here's the thing. You get a thumbs-up, you're happy, right? You get a thumbs-down, you're sad. It's that simple. Yet some people make such a big deal out of it. Do you get what I'm saying?

I only thumbs-down if someone---xian, atheist, pagan, whoever---goes completely OFF topic to launch their own canned, prepackaged rant.
Or if it's FISH. :-P
