There I had lots of laughs and fun reading the answers.
I would love if I was able to afford a diswashing mashine, too.
But, the point being, if the conclusion from the most posts is we are all equal, then why not use some of that reasoning and common sense and start asking and answering intelligent q's in R&S and just not bash each other....
The post about coffee and Bible - hillarious lol

You know, I really don't think the Bible has a verse for this one.
I'm guessing that, in those ancient times, everyone pitched in and helped one another...otherwise, everyone suffered.
It's hard for people today, who live in a culture where machines do so much of the work to understand this notion, but believe me, there did once exist a world in which there were no lights, no phones, no running water, even. No supermarkets, no factories, no, not even one single McDonald's.
When you look at things from that angle, washing the dishes really doesn't seem like a major chore anymore, does it?

Whoever makes the mess cleans the mess; sort of. My ex and I had an arrangement that one would cook, and the other do the dishes, that worked out well also.

Based on what Jesus taught we should be fighting over the dish soap.
In other words. We are to serve each other and our fellow man or woman as the case may be.

Our religion says nothing about who is supposed to do what. But I always end up doing the dishes. I could start and argument about guys but I won't.

My husband is Muslim, I'm agnostic/deist. He cooks, I sometimes do the dishes, he sometimes does them, but more often than not, our cleaning lady who comes a couple times a week takes care of that.

The Christian marriage vows we took said we will contribute equally to the relationship. This means everything, including the dishes. They say we are both equal.

Well in my religion women stay home and take care of the house and raise the kids so I guess you could say it's the woman's job but the husband can help out as well if he wants.

Everyone who eats should do the dishes. Everyone who does dishes is welcome to the table. That's our house rule - the only exception is when we have a dinner party. Then I do the dishes because I enjoy it.
