i have a min pin that is pregnant and i was wondering how long they are pregnant for

:) There is actually a range of time depending on when the breeding occurred in her cycle. If you aren't exactly sure of the hormone levels of when she was bred, it can be anywhere from 58-65 days from the date of being bred. If you aren't doing progesterone testing to determine whelping date, do the temperature check starting a week before you THINK her earliest due date would be and take it twice a day at the same time each day. That way you will know when it stays down for 24 hours. At that point, expect puppies. The temperature frequently drops then raises which is why you need it more than once a day.

63 days is normal gestation but they can go 58-68 days. I have found that most smaller dogs will have theirs between 60-62 days. At least that is my experience. I used to raise min pins. Now I just raise chihuahuas.
