I wouldn't bother you with my answer normally, but I see no one else has answered & so I will offer my humble American opinion...

I have been waiting 4-ever for an application for my Turkish fiance to be approved...I live in the NE territory of US and I am sometimes so disheartened although I understand why these processes take so long.

If they didn't; I suppose the government wouldn't be performing to their dead-level best, and we could certainly ***** about that and be justifed. I want safety for my children and to maintain our way of life so I appreciate what they are doing even if I sometimes do not agree with the process...but it certainly is frustrating. Best of luck to you!

I think they are ridiculous. My husband got a visa as a spouse of a British citizen 2 years ago it cost £300-£400 pounds now its £700. How the hell can they justify such a large jump in fee.

The increase in Fees were probably put in place to deter undesirabales from applying.A lot of background work goes into a Visa application it is right that the fees should be high.Personally I beleive that Visa fees should rise even further.
