strawberry shortcake

slice up strawberries (very healthy)
buy low fat ready whip whipped cream
get an angel food cake (pretty low in calories compared to other deserts)

layer all three and you have everything you asked for!

Low Fat Snickers Dessert:

20 min 20 min prep
16 servings

1/2 gallon vanilla ice milk, slightly softened
1 container Cool Whip Free, frozen topping (not the huge tub, just the normal size tub)
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package sugar-free instant chocolate pudding mix
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter

1. Mix all ingredients together.
2. Pour into a 13x9-inch pan.
3. Freeze.
4. Cut into 16 equal size piece.

Almond Joy Pudding Cups
6-8 servings

1 can light unsweetened coconut milk
2 1/2 cups skim milk or regular
1 tsp almond extract
2 pkgs. sugar-free instant chocolate fudge pudding mix
Cool Whip (light or fat-free)(optional)

In a bowl combine coconut milk with skim milk and almond extract; add pudding mix all at once. Beat with wire whisk until creamy and begins to thicken, about 2 minutes. Refrigerate; top with whipped topping (optional).

about 100 calories per serving.

Low-Fat Chocolate Cookies

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/3 cup canola oil
3 egg whites
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS

In a large mixing bowl, combine the applesauce, oil and egg whites. Beat in sugars and vanilla. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually add to applesauce mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until slightly firm.

Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 in. apart onto baking sheets coated with nonstick cooking spray. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees F for 8-10 minutes or until set.

Chocolate dipped strawberries. Melt chocolate in microwave. Dark chocolate is best. You can use chocolate chips. Dip strawberries and place on wax paper on a cookie sheet. Put in fridge to chill.

Fruit Cocktail..... so low fat and easy! And you can add what you like and leave out what you don't care for! :) :)
