Based on my questions to Muslims, Atheists, Agnostics, Pagans, Jews and Wiccans, the most common answer was that _____ felt most persecution coming from Christians. Yet several of the Christians claimed they were the most persecuted religion by other religions and non believers. Who else thinks these findings are not all that surprising? Who else thinks Jesus is very sad about those who claim to follow his teachings?

No questioning hands down die hard religious Christians, they go around judge people calling evil, make claims of bad things are of those of atheists and etc. The moment you turn the tables on them they claim "it's in the bible we would be persecuted for telling the truth" (yeah what truth is that) *rolls eyes*

No religion persecutes another more there are people in every religion that are going to feel that it's wrong to believe anything other then what they believe. There are even different sects or whatever you want to call them in each religion that persecutes others in the same damn category! I do not believe in god however if he does exists I'm sure that he would be horrified to see how many people use the word of god against others.

I think christianity has the biggest stronghold on the world and has almost zero persecution. I was a christian for 28 years and never recieved persecution. Its a load of fear mongering rubbish.

I think muslims get the hardest times, particularly at the hand of jewish and christian people. The problem even non-religious people hate them because of stereotypes and fear inducing behaviour on the government and medias part.

I think the most peaceful religion (of the major religions) is buddhism and pantheism.

I am a pantheist and we believe everything is God, or everything is creation. Therefore we can not willingly hurt nature, animals, humans. We have a cause for justice and socialist peace. We dont believe in violence, we dont believe in controlling others, we dont believe in ripping people apart, we do believe that Jesus is a myth (the majority not all), mohammad is a myth etc etc... but that doesnt mean we tear Jesus down. We just state that it is false and we only speak in fact about other religions not emotions....

No religion persecutes other religions. It is the individual human that persecutes other religions. We are the ones guilty of the war and fights and killings that happen around the world.

Christians are among the worst I say but Muslims are the worst. But the Christian persecution claims are a complete sham. As for Christians themselves, I get so tired of being called evil by people who claim to be persecuted for not being able to force me to live as they think I should.

I still say it's Christians, however I think that's by far and large due to the fact that they're the biggest (at least in most places). So it's a statistical inevitability that they can get away with the most bullying. Islam is pretty much right up there too.

Pastor Billy is correct if you are logical about it. Hitler(an atheist Facist) killed 11 million, Stalin(an atheist, Communist) may have killed up to as many as 200 million, Idi Amin(brutal Ugndan dictator-Atheist) killed several million, and last but not least the communist dictator Pol Pot killed many millions also.

So if you go by the stats anti-religious dictators persecuted and murdered more than anyone else.

I think those of us in the United States know nothing about religious persecution and silly opinions on Yahoo! don't even come close to the real thing. We should all be thankful.

God Bless.

I would say all religions are on an equal footing. I believe they want to get on with each other so they treat each other nicely, but sometimes things go a little wrong.

LOL, who gets beat up more than Christians? look at this site and you will see.
Hollywood constantly trashes Christians. when have you seen a GOOD Christian in a Hollywood film? They are at best pathetic wimps hiding in a corner, or a child-molesting ax murderer.
One Creationist museum pops up in America, and they threaten to burn it down. How many 'museums of natural history' have been threatened?
If you even mention the idea that god exists in today's society, you are labeled as a cult member.
I am used to being beat up for Christ. I expect it, and have gotten it from all angles, from people in all walks of life.
you need to do a SCIENTIFIC, UNBIASED study on the subject. don't go to a site that is openly hostile to Christians and ask them if Christians are bad to them.
Come on, get real.
