Busch fortunately avoided hurting someone on pit road after acting like an idiot.NASCAR slaps his wrist with 100 points and a fine.#8 crew cheif was suspended for a few races for a non-approved spoiler bracket that would have made no difference to the car's performance on the track.Which is more dangerous?A car not passing inspection or a driver ramming a car with crew members around?

I believe that NASCAR issued the penalty based upon what the INTENT of the action was. They felt that what Tony Eury Jr. was a blatant attempt to cheat, which is why the hammered him. In Kurt's case, they didn't feel that he was intentionally trying to harm a crew member. While it was a bone headed thing to do, the only ill intent was toward Tony Stewart. Had he been trying to hit the crew member, I'd be willing to bet that he'd be suspended for several races....if not the entire season.

A driver ramming a car with crew members around is more dangerous. He should have gotten suspended for a few races and a much bigger fine. A car not passing inspection isn't going to hurt somebody. Nascar better wake up and see the difference in there fines.

Here we go again.#8 in no #2.Busch is a past champ Earnhardt Jr. is not. What's so hard to understand about that. That's how pro sports work, it's not just NASCAR.I don't understand why everyone acts so surprised. That's why NASCAR doesn't mess with the likes of Jeff Gordon,Jimmie Johnson, and Kurt Busch. You don't mess with the kings!
Ialos agree with Tiggy's momma her answer was correct.

I told ya'll in a post a few days ago he wouldn't get it as bad a Tony Eury, Jr. did. Thats just how NASCAR works. If it's something minor, as brackets for mounting the back wing, then expect the worst. If it endangering a life on pit road, then you get a slap on the hand and told not to do it again. I know it doesn't make alot of sense, but it's not in our control.
I was for sure he'd be suspended, I was shocked to see him practicing and qualifying today. He knows he's one "lucky dog".

You know, they cant punish busch for what could have happen, they can however punish him for what did, hence the 100 points, $100,000, and probation. If he had actually made contact, the punishment wouldhave been different. Im a junior fan, and i don't think the punishment fits the crime, but in busch's case, any more severity would be overkill.

Oh, a Jr fan, huh? You are the most rude and disgusting of all the fans at any race that I've been to.Smoke started this by spinning Kurt out, and Smoke's crew member had already saw Kurt coming and was out of harms way.I support Kurt all the way! OH MY~JR. CHEATED>>>HAHA

I say on top of the fines, probabtion, and points docking, he should have to go 10 rounds in a boxing ring with Jimmy Spencer. I think that would knock some since into him. If that didn't work then he needs to hang out with Jack Nickolson and get some anger management.

Let's see do I even need to answer this question? Ramming a car with people around is ALOT more dangerous.

Gotta agree with you here. Tony Eury got a worse fine for just 2 brackets ! I think a mans life is worth more than that ! Give him the six race suspension that Tony Jr. Got !!!!
