She is 58 days today! She had a 99.2 temp and has had for several days now. Her vulva doesn't seem to be swollen but she is whimpering alot and she keeps trying to get in my bed(that's where she sleeps) and she cannot seems to get comfy! I haven't seen the puppies move much at all today. She keeps hiding under the covers and my little male has stayed away from her all day! She also doesn't let me get out of her sight! She hasn't eaten anything all day!! She is miserable! A couple of time i have felt of her belly and it is really hard then it gets soft again. She licked at herself once or twice today and I havent seen any discharge where she has been laying.....Also she is getting up from her bed and walking a minute and then getting back in her bed.....

Sounds like the start of nesting behavior. Her temp should go back up shortly before hard labor begins. She is keeping close to you for some comfort, I assume this is her first litter?
Set up her whelping box, keep her environment quiet, and don't fuss and fret over her too much. Most dogs labor and whelp just fine if left alone, but if she is pushing hard for over an hour with no results get her in to the vet immediately.
I would guess you have done prenatal care with your family vet, and are prepared for things. If not, I would strongly suggest you have her and the pups seen within 12 hours of delivery, just to make sure none of the pups have any issues such as a cleft palate, and that the ***** is doing well. Your vet can also assess her diet and lead you through the pups' needs in the first 8 weeks, such as deworming and vaccines. Be sure she eats, these little guys can get hypoglycemic quickly, and watch closely for any tremors/seizures during the first few weeks of the pups nursing-it can be a sign of eclampsia (calcium deficency) that can be fatal if untreated.

She in labor all right. The hardening of her abdomen and then softening is a contraction. She will likely be having the pups very soon. Keep your males totally away from her. Just stay with her and keep her calm. You should call your vet to have them on hand just in case a problem arises.
Smaller breeds will deliver in 58 days so I wouldn't worry to much right now. If you see her straining and no pup is produced then I would get her to your vets ASAP.

Call your vet if whe is only 58 days she is 5 days early.
Tell your vet seh might need to go in to see teh vet.
there can be complications. Usually they go into labor within 24 hours of the temp drop and you say it's been a few days.
CALL YOUR VET NOW.

She is in labor. Call the vet, tell him what is going on. He may suggest you bring her in or just monitor her closely. She is probably still just in the early stages of labor. It may take all night. I would sleep with her close by. Not in your bed unless you want a big mess.
