I agree with you ( I'm a teenager) but the reason why this has never happened or probably will never happen is the goal of the religion. Religion gives faith and it ALWAYS teaches you either the truth or dictates to you what is the truth FOR THEM. In that situation, the point was to show the genuity of being part of a circle in which not all can be in.
