O.K. I get it and I think that I can help. But first let me tell you my experience.

I was alone for the first 12 years of my daughters life and doing all the running and the looks (you do get them) and comments from other parents can hurt. Never mind how lonely it can be. I think that your mother is so happy to have someone to be by her side that she hasn't thought of how you might feel, also with him being available for all your events she thinks that it is sending you the message that he is there for you too, whether you want him to be or not.

Now the help part, print all of the answers out and show her or leave it for her to find if you don't feel that you can talk to her. I guarantee that she isn't meaning to hurt you and no matter how much she loves this man you can never love a man more than a life you create.

Good luck and open up to her, you both deserve the truth and the mutual respect that this can help grow between you.

No... thats not wrong... you should talk to them about it... but make sure that you talk to them at the same time... (so your soon to b step dad dont get offended)...
Just let them know that you value and would appreciate some more one on one time with your mother... I'm sure they will understand...
Good Luck!
