I'm sick of paying the phone company outrageous amounts of money when I hardly ever use my phone. What's the best company to go with for a pay-as-you-go phone?

Verizon has a pretty good plans i have the easy pay plan and thats a plan where your not on a contract but..... you still have a plan... Cingular is okay to i guess but you should think about verizon easy pay.... I have 350 day min and 3000 night and weekend minutes for only 50 dollars a mon. or you can have 700 day min 3000 night and weekend min for 70 dollars a mon. and none of this is on a contract..

as princess M said Tracfone is good. i was paying 22.00 a month for Verizon. i went to Office Depot and bought the Tracfone i got 250 minutes plus the phone for 120.00 you have to reactivate it once a year even if you don't use up the 250 minutes. i figure i was paying over 250.00 a year for Verizon but i will only pay the 120.00 for a year with Tracfone so i save 130.00 a year. i got it in December 2006 and i still have over 200 minutes left on it. you see i don't have many friends to talk to. i only use it for emergencies. i carry a beeper and leave the phone off so i don't have to worry about the battery going dead i just turn it on to return the call. but now i think there is a whole big world of pay as you go phone services.i saw an offer for 1000 minutes for the same price i paid for only 250 minutes so you have to shop and look for promotions good luck to you

You should look into getting a tracfone. They are pretty decent and they give you 90 days before you have to re-up your minutes. Check out www.tracfone.com to see if you like any of their plans.

I hope this was helpful,Take Care!!! :)
