Let's be very clear, there is no god. There is no use praying, since there is no god. You do not need god in your life, as there is no god.

Take responsibility for your own life, as, in case you missed it, there is no god.

Have you asked for relief of what's blocking you from the awareness that God is ALREADY in your life? Do you confuse God with Santa Claus , thinking God ought to give you what you ask for in prayer-- your will or God's will for you?
Try asking only for knowledge of God's will for you and the power to carry it out. Since i began doing this some years back, my life has gotten so much better than i could imagine, beg, borrow, steal or gain other ways. i am also much happier than i could imagine and my perception of life is constantly improving so that it is more an expression of joyous praise than a futile attempt at a meaningless existence.

First, believe that God loves you and made you for His purpose.

Second, receive. Receive Jesus Christ into your life by allowing Him to become your Lord (manager, boss, the one in control) and Saviour (who died to pay the penalty for everything you've ever done wrong). Receive His forgiveness for your sins. Receive His purpose and peace. Receive His power to help you fulfill your life purpose. The Bible says,
whoever accepts and trusts the Son gets in on everything, life complete and forever.

Right now I invite you to bow your head and say this prayer
Jesus, I believe in You and I receive You. Thank You for dying on the cross to pay for all my sins. As much as I know how, I ask You to come into my life and help me learn to know You, trust You, and love You.

If you sincerely meant that prayer, congraturlations. Welcome to the family of God! You are now ready to discover and start living God's purpose for your life. I urge you to tell someone about it. You are going to need support. How about visiting the wesite www.purposedrivenlife.com

You will need to have a Bible one which is easy to read and understand, like a New Living Translation, and you will need to find a good church, like a Penetecostal Church, so that you can grow in your new found faith, with other Christians.

God bless you

First of all, you have to admit you are a sinner, like all the rest of us. Confess these sins to God in a prayer. Repent of your sins (turn away from them, and don't do them anymore) confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, and ask Him into your heart. Jesus said " I stand at the door and knock" That means the door to your heart. It is up to you to accept Him as your Savior and Lord. Then, you live your life for Him, meaning you read the Bible, go to church, and be with other believers, and OBEY HIS WORD. Jesus said "If you love me, you will OBEY MY COMMANDS" You can talk to God anytime you want. When you pray, just talk to Him like normal. He will understand you. He will hear you. His desire is for you to come to Him. Make sure you pray in the name of Jesus. Jesus said "No one comes to the Father except through Me" You need to SURRENDER yourself to Him. Praise Him daily. (God loves praise) Thank Him often for all He has given you, and for Jesus, dying on the cross for you. If you truly repent, then you will know that you are "saved." It is a feeling like no other. I can't explain it to you. It is impossible for a saved person to explain "saved" to a non-saved person. You have to experience it. When you do, you will never forget it. You will know that the Lord lives in you through the Holy Spirit. You will feel it. You will know it. No one will have to tell you that you are saved.
Well, I hope this helped you. I really care about you, and I will pray for you . Jesus said" I will never leave you nor forsake you" I praise God that you have asked this question today. Do you know that whenever a person is saved, they rejoice in Heaven? Is that cool, or what? Welcome to God's family!!! God Bless!

You pray and ask for forgiveness, you read the bible and what he says what you should do...I'm a Christian myself but I don't want to impose my faith on you so I will just say you read the bible get your own interpretation of what you believe, find a congregation that shares your belief and get baptized and served the Lord until he calls you home to rest...

God Bless yoU!

Dear Edward- Since this is your profile:
"Nothing is more funny to me than a person who won't recognize ANY point of view but their own. I try to give this impression as best I can to help others like me have a good laugh. I like throwing rocks at the religious and political hornet's nests to see which bees get mad at me. To me this is good entertainment"
I am catching that rock and tossing back to you.
For those who sincerely want to know the answer to this question:
"But from there yo will seek the Lord your God and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul" Deuteronomy 4:29

For those who want to join Edward in the rock throwing game:
"Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap" Galatians 6:7

Play on.

God already has an interest in you.

Hes waiting for you to take an interest in him.

I would start by visiting your local church or picking up a Bible.

Or just pray...in no special format... from your heart and tell him.

Pray to God telling him you understand that you are separated from him because of your sin, but tell him you also believe in Jesus, your believe he is the son of God and that he died as punishment for your sins. Then ask Christ to come into your heart as lord and Savior. Ask him to forgive you of all your sins and make you perfect in the eyes of God.

Don't worry about repenting first. Repenting won't save you...being born again though will. Pray and ask Christ into your life today!

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved"

Who do you confess too?

And Jesus said, "I stand at the door of your hear constantly knocking. If you hear me knocking and open your heart and invite me in I will be with you and you with me"

You're really gonna realize you needed God one day when the final judgement comes. You remind me of Saul in the Bible. Hope you don't find yourself blindsided. Maybe the last laugh Satan might have on you... got that clue?
