Why don't you just try some nice highlights? It's less damaging to the hair, and you can put some really pretty highlights in black hair. I would go to a professional though. They can put a couple different colors in your highlights, and make it look really nice.

Bleaching your hair isn't good for it no matter what color you start with, but lightening it so drastically can be pretty harsh. If you really want to change from black to blonde, I'd go to a salon and see what they have to tell you.

I dyed my hair black (I'm naturally a light brown) in January, and it's still not quite grown out enough for me to be ready to go back to blonde.

So please talk to a hairdresser or at least hope that one will answer you here. Sorry I couldn't be more help ^^;;

Dont do that...
do it gradually
people who go from black to blonde, alot of the time their hair falls out...
go to a hairdressers and ask for the best option.
but id say, work ur way slowly up to blonde

Most likely it will.
There are so many chemicals in bleaching that's really bad for hair.
