about 5 years ago, I started to fall into a really depressive episode. At first I thought it was only because I had a bad break from a relationship but the feelings wouldn't go away even after I got a new girlfriend. It was wrecking my life until a point where it was seriously affecting my work and personal life.
She was very worried but at the same time couldn't understand why I was still sad and thought that I still couldn't let go of my previous relationship. Being the wonderful person that she is, she put aside her feelings and suggested I go for psychiatric evaluation. Many months later and even more anti-depressants, I was not coming close to being better at all.
After doing some research online, I found out the real cause as you described it really makes a lot of sense and purchased this program. The results were simply astonishing. I read this book over three times and put all words in action. Using this method, I've kept my depression at bay ever since. Up to date I'm still living happily with my girlfriend.

weed definitely won't help you. depression is not always something that can be prevented, it often runs in families... this is part of the reason why i developed it. depression is caused by a chemical imbalance, which is something you obviously can't control. try to eat right and exercise, doing these two things will help you feel better anyway, but if it runs in your family there's nothing really you can do about it.

Exercise, follow good eating habits, using vitamins B6 and B12 will also help, you may ask at a health food store or pharmacy for the supplements. Stay away from the weed, as others mentionned it is a depressant as well as alcohol, it won't help you at all.

I don't think the weed helps.. its also a depressant even know its called getting high.. and trust me I've smoke pot for years.. its not the answer, but part of your problem.
If you want an all natural mood enhancer.. try St. Johns Wart..
its in the vitamin department..
check your diet and yes to the exercise...

Weed is a depressant and drugs can lead to severe depression. I suffer from clinical depression and there isn't a whole lot you can do except work with a doctor to find an antidepressant that will work for you.

You are a person that needs adrenalin to normalize that brain chemistry. Go out and find something that will do this and you will feel better. Surfing, sky diving, base jumping, riding roller coasters, hopefully something safe that you can do without much expense. I wouldn't reccommend the base jumping but the point is it's all about the brain chemistry, and the adrenal gland is what does it. Get some adrenalin in your bloodstream and you will feel better!

No, definitely don't use weed. Exercise, get enough sleep and get some sun. Don't use any kind of drugs. They will make you more depressed.
