Many things in life are especial because they are imperfect. Is perfection really a goal?

God is perfect, yes, but He doesn't expect us to be. He created us for fellowship and friendship - to love us.
My goal is not perfection. I understand that God is perfect, but I also know that He knows I'm not perfect and never will be. I'm not Him. I understand that He will delight in my discoveries, celebrate with my revelations, encourage my reasoning, applaud my attempt at logic and love me through it all...

That's who God is sailcat.

blessings :)

Yes I do because He's the creator of us so I would hope He would be perfect. He is an Awesome God and I know that spending eternity with Him is way better than spending eternity with Satan and a place of torment and you may not think Hell is real but it's a very real place!

Absolutely Yes. No more pain, hate, frustration, death, pride, sickness, etc. But more importantly the truth will be finally visible to our eyes and we'll get to meet our creator.

Life is not special because of imperfection it might be unique but perfection is something we can't comprehend or fathom in our mortal bodies.

God made everything perfect because He's perfect. We're the ones that screw things up :-) And I sure do want to spend eternity with Him.

Look at the alternative, would you rather burn for eternity? I would rather live out eternity in perfection with the God Amighty.

God Bless

I don't want to be with God because... well who wants to hang out with a stranger for all of eternity... a stranger that is probably full of himself because well... he's supposed to be 'perfect'...

duh, that's the whole point. All I can say is that if you don't want o spend eternity with God, load up on some sunblock before you die.
