I use the utensils God gave me! I shred it by hand because it is just a lot easier than using forks and it also makes the meat shreds a lot nicer! Mixes better with the BBQ sauce when shredded by hand. If you use a food processor, if you process it too long it could become mushy when doing that much meat.

A food processor works PERFECTLY. We just did 5 pork roasts for my son's graduation, I was shredding with forks when my hubby said he was going to try the processor. I was leery, but it worked FANTASTIC!!!!!

If you cooked it right it should pretty much fall apart. If not, forks are the best and most authentic way to get real results for shredded meats.

I do it by hand. It's fun and a lot easier than forks or utensils.

A food processor would give you a pork smoothie, eew. Try putting on a pair of kitchen gloves and using your hands. Best kitchen tool there is and you can't misplace them! :)
