Shouldn't we have a holiday - just one day - where we all agree to only ask and answer in respectful ways? No calling the other people dumb. Challenging questions would be perfectly welcome, but no "Why are Christians/Atheists such retards?" types of questions.
When should be the Official R&S No Name-Calling Day?

Okay, if it's good with everyone else, I pick Sunday June 10, 2007.
Since I'm picking the date, I guess we'll have to go with my time zone, which is Eastern Daylight Time. Or just go with whenever it's Sunday where you are. I guess the times could overlap a bit.

war-horse - We can't make everyone participate, and I wouldn't want anyone to be fake, or to go against their principles. I am not fake-sweet so I guess I don't understand all the rudeness.

This is a site where people search for God and there should be no name calling and being mean. I do give thumbs down to my answers that are mean, sarcatic and cutting If I wanted to be treated that way I still would be dating my ex boyfriend.
There is a lot of hostility on this board and there should not be. I even went as far to report people who were blantly abusive. You can prove your point and say what you have to say without being nasty and obnxoius, thank you for this post.

sometimes i break down and call someone ignorant and in return i feel ignorant because i show them that i am just like them. no matter what they say to me, no matter how human i am, i should be tolerant not just some of the time but at all times. this shows also a good example from someone who practices Islam. considering the image that we have and can't seem to shake. i am for a good breath of fresh air to a civil day....if people could only!

When all todays Monotheists finish up the agenda of murdering each other in name of (___pick your answer___).....
Maybe then there will be a chance for a more peaceful and intelligent discussion.
