If you are not a believer in Christ Jesus, how do you keep them from harming you? Christians are protected by the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, and the indwelling Holy Spirit.

Aw, honey.
It's a nice try. But they aren't going to get it. I'm going to tell a story I think only my friend Illyria will understand.
I have an abusive mother. We'll start with that. After all that I've studied I now know that such abuse draws the darker paranormal things. She's horrible in more ways than I can say.
When I was a small child, I got picked on a lot because I was really small.
Out of the blue one day three "people" showed up. Because I was a Christian, I thought they were angels. They pretty much appeared as shadows with varying shades of gray to indicate features. Two of them spoke to me as anyone speaks to another. The third never talked. The two refered to her as 'the queen.' I was not allowed to talk to her either.
They helped me. When my mother was mean, they would trip her, or knock dinner off the stove. When kids picked on me in school they would trip them. Or make their milk go bad in their lunch boxes.
When I was 12, I landed in the hospital - again. I read an article in Good Housekeeping. About a family that moved into a haunted house and later found out they were demons not ghosts.
You know the story I'm sure. The Amityville Horror. A couple of years later the book came out. I got a second hand copy at the library. I read it all in one night. I realized what those things were. They were NOT angels.
And for the first time I was afraid of them. They stopped talking and stared at me all night. They never spoke again. To this day I still have issues with people staring. It took me WEEKS to get rid of them.
Not all that glitters is gold.

Those of us who work with spirit guides no more "conjure" them than you "conjure" Jesus. I never deal with spirit without praying to God (yes God) to protect me with his love, to only open me to what is in the light and my best interest, and oh heck why am I even answering this? Do you honestly want to understand or just make a statement to further convince yourself that any dealings with spirit are of the devil?
I'll ask you a question in return though. There are millions of people in this world that were born into non-Christian homes, yet were raised to be good, decent people. Most attend some house of worship and believe in God. They live good lives and treat people well. Do you believe in a God that would turn his back on those people, and only love those who happened to be born or convert to one faith??? Sorry I have far more faith in a truly all Loving, benevolent God than that! And I believe in a God who loves and protects ALL his children, not just those of one faith.
And if you ever work with spirit guides for real you would know that they NEVER tell you what to do, instruct you in anything that would hurt you or anyone, or in any other way behave in any many anything demonic would (should such a thing exist). If you ever are truly interested in understanding I'd be glad to explain more.

once I studied christianity we've been taught that any spirit that became no longer from God became from the devil. As there became no concept in ghosts, as all lifeless human beings have been asleep interior the spirit observing for judgement day, we've been to have faith that any element like spirit courses etc, have been demonic. the boldness of Christianity became between the main significant reasons I have been given out of it.

Yawn. Spirit guides are not demons they are helpers and there are a tremendous amount of flies around this person who is asking this question...out with you devil.....Finewhine if I had more energy I would have written the identical thing...good for you...

Spirit guides, demons, and Jesus Christ all don't exist....
it seems to me it's CHRISTIANS that have all these problems, so it's the Christian god who is weak.
The gods of your ancestors are waiting for you. If you don't turn to them, your children, or children's children will. They have long memories.

Why is it that some theists just don't seem to get it? Lots of people don't believe in your mythology. People who believe in other myths aren't scared by yours, and atheists certainly aren't because we don't believe in any myths.

Study more and you'll find your answers, otherwise I don't think you're really interested in how shamans, etc. work with spirit guides.

I dont call up anyone
spirit guides are there
we open to recieving their guidance , and if willing then they will help
not once have they done anything but bring love
and they are anything but demons
