That funny thanks for the laugh on a more serious not many churches are more concerned with the offering plate and not much else. Jesus gave the great commision to go into the world and make disciples of every man but sad to say some churches and pastors and televangelists are more concerened with thier OWN commison and building thier OWN kindgom and not seeking the Kindgom of God.

that was funny. I liked that. Well...i never put money in the collection plate, our church doesn't do that s**t. If our church did, i still wouldn't do it because it wouldn't go to anyone but the priest. That's why you see these priests with their fancy cars and clothes. If you see these "priests" ask them who do they follow? It may not be God but money.

If you want to be frank with them, yes.

The church will have a hard time trying to ketchup with last week's funds, though.

Why do I get the impression that you just relish this idea of yours?...

How about just not putting anything in the collection plate?

I give to my church because I believe in what they're doing, not because I'm trying to please anyone.

No. The corn dog, even if all beef frank, won't feed very many poor hungry people. I'd say it might feed one, if they aren't very hungry. Money, on the other hand could feed many many more.
