And why the heck did he keep the rats from taking over the Ark? It doesn't take long for two rats to become 200, 40 days of rain is more than enough. Add in all the time he spent floating in the ocean, that ship should have been infested beyond recovery. Surely god would have known this. Are we to imply that god wants us to have rats?
And how did he round up the carnivours? It's hard for skilled hunters to catch ONE lion and control it without killing it first, let alone two of them and every other meat eating feline. Those things have claws and jaws that rip the flesh off things in a hurry, and they don't play nicely with their dinner.

While a personage named Noah did something like build a boat in the desert, I believe it's an exaggeration as to the amount and kinds of animals he actually took on board. Also an exaggeration to the size of the flood.

Noah could only have known of the animal species in his immediate vicinity. So he saved what he could. And when God flooded the world there were some high places that the water level did not exceed, and in those high places the other animals escaped to. So then, forgive me Father Guido, for I have sinned, because I dared to believe in your logic and offered some of mine in return. Peace.

Sure. The Bible writers (God) loved long lists of names and sexual partners, so it is odd that they left some out. Must be the editors fault. Maybe a Congressional investigative committee can get to the bottom of it.

Dose the bible mention any animal at all? Why do you think they would know do you really think he made a list of all of them to pass down through the year as a family keep sack or that he was more concerned about getting them all on there?

Nimrod the text doesn't mention any specific animal. How can you then say it excluded penguins and such when it didn't even mention lions or goats?

Noah was told to put 2 of each kind in the ark and I am sure they all got put in there, I don't recall all the names of the animals being called off just a few but he was told to get 2 of each kind, so bet they had their place there too
