You stay in zero-tau. It's the only way to avoid the beyond.
What, your version of Disney's cryo is scifi, so Peter K. Hamilton isn't good enough?

good question , As no human has been reanimated yet no one knows. Would a soul return to the body, could a "lost soul enter it" or do we not have souls in the first place ? I(s the idea of an eternal soul our way of dealing with the fear of death, as we all know we will die someday? But isn't being cryogenic frozen a way of escaping death?

Lol @ copperhead89 But seriously speaking, I am not sure what happens to the soul while the body is frozen, I would assume it hangs around in a ghost form for a while till the body is either defrozen and ready to be entered again, or defrozen and dead. Or (most probably) it is dead already anyway, and the soul moves on to another one. But it is only my speculation, as the law of karma is very intricate and there is no way for us to know things for sure with our limited understanding. One thing is sure though - no matter how hard we try to escape them, death and karma will catch up with us anyway!

I'm not so sure it's a SMALL fee . . . :-)
I would say, the same thing that you believe happens when you die, whatever that might be. After all . . . water expands when it freezes.
As a heathen, my view is that the soul remains with the body . . . and I'm really going to be ticked off if someone decides to leave me hanging around a corpsicle storage facility with a bunch of total strangers!

That's a very interesting question. What happens to people's soul when they are in a coma? I believe their soul would be asleep during the freeze time, just as a person who is comatose is as if they are asleep until they come out of the coma.

It's frozen too.
It can be revived by being fed "soul food"... although the toll on your arteries makes the overall worth somewhat questionable.

It goes through a defrost cycle in Hell then brought back in the nick of time for re-entry.

If you're atomized in a nuclear war, what happens to your soul, that's what I want to know...

Your soul gets gangrened and you then come back with a black, black soul that is unable to have emotions/feelings.
