Its part of their indoctrination (aka brainwashing). But don't hate them...help them. Mental illness is no joke and their condition should be treated as a disease by society and not dismissed as moral corruption.

You can only brain wash--someone with a brain--the first rule of brainwashing. I would comment on your question but you question prevents me. People do not convert, if you plan to be obstinate at least learn the correct language. If hell does not exist whats the problem with you. Eye blinking is an involuntary response. You have chosen to reject God for your superior knowledge. Have a good day and enjoy life

I've experienced what you're talking about.
It's scary.
Some folks get so caught up in religion they totally lose contact with reality.
Religion and Bible study and prayer and "witnessing" becomes their whole life. Every other kind of earthy wisdom or beauty suddenly has no value for them. It's all about "converting" others.
Problem is, it would be one thing if all they did was hand out brochures on the street corner, but no...many of them believe that their God (or Savior) sanctions any means necessary. They feel justified in getting right up in peoples' faces and being obnoxious...

Anyone who pushes their religion on another does so, because they prefer to convince you that they know something, then take the time to look to themselves.
As for Christians they take that idea from when Christianity was young and the early Christians needed to spread the Good News.
However, they have yet to see the passage in the bible that tells them, God has already written His word in peoples hearts. Hence after Christ's Resurrection, the word of God needs no more converts, all those who seek Him, have to only learn the lessons of their hearts..

The Christians that follow the teachings of Jesus, not man's teachings only want you not to be placed with the goats. The ones that are rebellious and fight God will be placed with Satan in the pit at the time of the great Judgment. Yes, ask God to open your eyes and believe in the only One that Saves.
God Bless You

not all of us do that. but you have to ask the same question the other way around. why do you ridicule those and force your belief that God doesn't exist on those who believe it? i'm just saying. but i respect everybodies beliefs. i live the way i believe and if some has questions on why i am happy all the time and feel good about my life, then i'll tell them.

Why do evolutionists insist on pushing an unproven theory on society? Why do atheists want to convince the world there is no God?
You are entitled to what you choose - your free will is God-given. No one should "try" to "convert" you. They should be able to spell out what they believe and it is up to you to reason out what you have heard. It is no less simple than presenting any other information, essentially.
To zealous Christians out there, your zeal is commendable, but it is not your job to force someone into conversion. Even Jesus did not badger anyone into believing Him. Let the Holy Spirit do His job.

Do you believe you're going to hell? If not, then it shouldn't be such a big deal to you unless you think they might be right.
If you're going to eat the free speech enchilada then you have to reckon that religious free speech, including evangelism, is part of that enchilada.

Hi,
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink....that's call free will, and you chose your path, and we chose ours. That way you can't say nobody warned me. Check out scripture to see if I'm telling you the truth. But then again....it's still your choice.
