I don't have fibromyalgia, but I do have Multiple Sclerosis. My neuro says that the pain is about the same in the legs. I have trouble finding a place for my legs to lay at night because they hurt all the time. I have tried a chiropractor, an acupuncturist, and pain pills. I find the pain pills do the best job, however, they are not the best thing to have to take all the time. Also, ice packs help a lot. Good luck to you.

One day at a time. I have had it for many years. The best thing I have found is a med call Cymbalta. It has made my pain much more managable. Try to get as much sleep as possible (hard, I know) because the pain gets much worse the less sleep you get. Try to find a good Dr who has some understanding of fibro. There are days when I just want to chew off my own body parts because they hurt so bad, but you just gotta keep going.

Yes, Pray!
My neurologist told me to take 600-800mg ibuprofen once a day to keep the inflammation on the muscles down. It does help. I could tell if I skipped a day. Unfortunately, I'm having to that all the time now.

Yes I have had it for several years now. My treatment varies. docs will tell you you need all kinds of meds etc. I found that excercise really helps. Even if you just walk each day. On good days, I take nothing. On bad days I vary from Tylenol today, Bayer aspirin tomorrow etc. On really bad days, I suffer a lot. If it gets to much, I have a prescription for pain meds.
