For Catholics -- and I don't know if there are any other Christian religions which accept the terms -- sanctifying grace is a spiritual gift of God by which we share His life. By sharing His life, we are truly His children -- not adoptive children who are children of their adoptive parents only by force of law, but real members of the family of God since we share His life.

That gift of grace is like another "nature": our human nature, which we share with our human parents, give us the gifts of knowledge and free will, by which we can know and love (choose). The gift of Sanctifying Grace gives us the power of Faith, Hope, and Charity as well as the power of the other virtues of prudence, justice, temperance and fortitude. All of these help us to keep strong and healthy our spiritual life, our spiritual "nature."

Sanctifying Grace is given to us initially at Baptism. It is strengthened and developed by the reception of the other Sacraments of the Living and/or it is restored to us by the Sacrament of Reconciliation if we have lost it through mortal sin. It is strengthened and developed, too, I think, by the practice of a virtuous Christian life -- i.e., prayer, charity, sacrifice.

I assume you mean s-a-n-c-t-i-f-y-i-n-g graces.

All sanctifyng grace was obtained for us by Jesus Christ, through his one time, once for all, perfect and atoning sacrifice.

Jesus subsequently founded, authorized, empowered, and eternally guaranteed the Church. He then entrusted his grace to it, and left the Church behind on the earth, as the primary trustee and distributor of that grace.

Celebrating the Mass and receiving the Sacraments has always been the very best way of obtaining sanctifying grace, although God may provide grace to whomsoever he chooses, for any or no reason, and by any means he chooses.

You receive everything that you need from your parents. Get it? If your mother didn't teach her little girl how to walk rightly in her step and in her demeanor then she did not receive sanctifying grace. She needs to look into the mirror and say do I know that I am a Child of God then she will begin to see that she is as naturally graceful. A man on the other hand is graceful on the dance floor and in his mind and heart when he treats a lady with total respect and consideration for her needs as a human being as well as himself. we cannot be graceful or have sanctifying grace when you do not understand how the human mind is when it is totally clear of inhibitions and as a little child. we are born with it. somehow something gets lost in our minds later on in life that changes things from lighthearted to heavy hearted. Sanctifying grace is grace that is naturally given by GOD himself to us as a little child at birth. It just has to be cultivated and nurtured by our parents who care enough about us to make sure that we are in HIS hands (our parent(s) hands ) at all times.

All grace is received through faith in Christ.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

"John testifies concerning him. He cries out, saying, "This was he of whom I said, 'He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.' " From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ."
John 1:14-17

So you say where does faith come from?

"Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ."
Romans 10:17

Read the Bible - especially the New Testament
