I'm 23 years young, and I workout 30 min of cardio followed by 2.5 hours of intense weight training, Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri. And Wed, Sat, Sun., I take off. Is that too much? Is the routine good for my well being?

I heard people say that you should workout out 4 days in a row and rest Fri Sat Sun, instead of working out 2 days on then 1 days off then 2 days on then 2 days off. I don't know which one is good for your well being?

2.5 hours of weight training usually means you are training too slow. You should be able to do it in 1.5 hours. Just make sure every muscle group has at least a day's rest to recuperate and build itself. 12 hours a week of intense training is a lot. The main thing to watch out for is injuries.

that seems a little bit much if you are already fit....but i think the idea of you taking 1 day off then 2 is a good idea
