What is a kegel?
A kegel is the name of a pelvic floor exercise, named after Dr. Kegel These muscles are attached to the pelvic bone and act like a hammock, holding in your pelvic organs. To try and isolate these muscles trying stopping and starting the flow of urine.

How do I do the kegel exercise?
Once you have located the muscles simply tighten and relax the mucsle over and over, about 200 times a day. These are basic kegels. There are many variations on kegels: elevator kegels (Where you tighten slowly, in increments going in and out, like an elevator stopping on several floors.), you can hold the muscle tightened for five seconds, you can bulge the muscles out at the end, and many other variations.

Keegals are used to strengthen the bladder muscles. It also helps with certain "other" muscles in a female. To do them, you tighten the same muscles you use when you have to urinate badly, but have to hold it. Just tighten, hold for a second, then relax the muscles. Don't overdo it at first cuz it can cause cramps in the muscles just like over using any muscle. The nice thing is, you can do them while sitting, driving, watching a movie etc and no one will even notice. They will help you when you get older by preventing "accidents" due to weak muscles.

I'm not a doctor, but my understanding is that Kegel exercises strengthen the muscles in your vagina and urethra (the pipe out of which you pee). They are often advised for pregnant women or women with urinary problems. My mother did them when she was pregnant to reduce accidents. A benefit of doing Kegels is that, supposedly, the contractions which occur in the vagina during orgasm become stronger/more forceful, thus possibly increasing the pleasure for you and your partner.

I don't know if they can "fix" but they can help muscles and tissue return to "normal" or something close to that. Keep exercising everyday and do not look for immediate results. Stay tight
