My brother's kid was over at my house last weekend and was playing my Xbox all day. But when dinner was ready he refused to come eat. When I told him to come to the table, he dropped the "F-Bomb". So I smacked his big fat greasy bread loaf-shaped head with a metal Louisville Slugger and squirted diarrhea all over his face before shaving him bald and throwing him out in the cold.

Is this an acceptable God-fearing way of disciplining children when they are disrespectful?

I almost believed your story until you got to "big fat greasy bread loaf shaped head". Then I laughed and smiled. :)

No, you shouldn't have smacked him with the louisville slugger.
You should have smacked him with your hand.

No, you shouldn't have squirted diarrhea all over his face.
You should have picked him up, turned off the tv and put him at the dinner table.

No, you shouldn't have shaved him bald.
You should have made him apologize for not obeying you.

No, you shouldn't have thrown him out in the cold.
You should have taken away the xbox for 2weeks and forced him to do the dishes as part of his punishment.

"Spare the rod, spoil the child." I know too many pansies out there that needed a good whooping. They would have turned out better than the lazy no good losers they are. I'm glad I had discipline, it made me study harder, get better grades in school, and helped me to get a six figure salary.

Well the Book says spare the rod, spoil the child, but somehow I don't think that's what it meant. Personally, I'd just put up the X-box. Of course I'm a witch, and it's said I eat cats and small children, so what do I know.

!I don´t believe you are confessing a horrible crime¡.
¿Do you hate children so much?
Read and follow Proverbs 10:13 , 22:15, 26:3 and try to
remember allways that you are dealing with a child. If
you dislike him, ask your brother to keep away from you.
In Germany they used to say to raise children with a
steel hand covered by A SILK GLOVE.

speaking nicely all along FROM BIRTH, it's really about a WAY of LIFE a CHARACTER of person...and if you raise a child in TRUTHFUL COMPASSION your child will be "well informed" and really be in no need of DISCIPLINE for anything...now I guess if you have to "take over" the ROLE of parenting MIDSTREAM so to speak or for whatever reason you were unable to make "communication appropriately" over the years well I guess simple things like TRYING TO PUT IT IN PERSPECTIVE for the child thru EXAMPLES as reference perhaps but if that does not work... if there is VIOLENCE ~ SECLUSION is one thing but to USE UNECESSARY force "after the fact" is WRONG... for example if you have to USE FORCE against the child in the act of SAVING an "innocent" from being attacked by the child well that is one thing, but after you have the child in SECLUSION "later" to drug or BEAT the child would be wrong....

Robo, you are a bum. I have reported you, what kind of trashy question is this? This is totally out of line in a forum for adult thinkers. You are a young child and shouldn't be allowed access here.

Drowning and Crucifixion are god's favorite way to punish, unless you have the ability to make you nephew burn in a lake of fire for eternity.

I think you should be more concerned about what the legal way to discipline a child is. . . . . that definitely isn't it.

Even though you are trolling I will answer nonetheless.

"And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord."
Eph 6:4

So the answer is: No.
