To attend a Catholic or Orthodox Mass, you do not have to know anything much in advance. Just walk in and find yourself a seat anywhere. If you wish you can stand, sit and kneel when the rest of the people do so. But if you just sit for the whole service, no-one will particularly notice. Some people sit because of leg problems or other reasons. When the people get out of the seats and walk up to receive Communion, you should not do so until such time as you have been formally received into the Church, should you decide to do that at some future date. No-one will notice that you don't go up to receive Communion. There will be others who are not receiving for a variety of reasons. That's about it. You will surely be blessed by being in the Lord's intimate presence, and from the scriptures and teaching you will hear.

I assume you're talking about an Orthodox Catholic church? (correct me if I'm wrong!) I'm just guessing, because of the candle lighting.
Please clarify your question, though... what type of chuch, and to go there- do you mean, like for Mass, or just to talk to a priest or something?
If it is about attending Mass at a Caholic Church...
Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, if you aren't baptized, you can still go to Mass (you just can't recieve the Eucharist).
Well, traditions and things... I know that Armenian Orthodox Catholic chuches are very formal, and the Masses are very long. I am Roman Catholic, and at my church khakis and a polo are acceptable and Mass is about an hour long.

sure, it incredibly is, i think of that there are different kinds of jap Orthodox church homes besides the Greek Orthodox. The jap Orthodox and the Roman Catholics chop up in 1054, the two was an identical Christian Church.

I think it will help much in answering your questions. Just come to know God first the rest will follow. A child of God is lead by the spirit to do what is right. While you are at it look at the rest of the site there is a lot of good information on it to learn from.
