IS it the side situps? I always work on my abs but how do you workout the sides of your core muscles?

Aerobics are your best bet....
You'll also help protect against unwanted fat by staying away from the foods that will put it on you. Exercise is the best diet, so stay active all of your life...and I'm not talking about just getting your exercise by shopping.

Play sports...as this not only gives you exercise, but it's more fun than going out to exercise for the purpose of 'exercise' ... so you won't get bored in doing it.

Most important factor about exercising is...consistancy! If you only exercise once a week your body won't react to it. You need to do something between 30 min to an Hour to even get anything out of it.

Also...so if you can get an exercise partner who will work out with you. You can morally support each other when you feel like quiting...of course this goes back to participating in sports as most sports are done in teams...

Try the core abdominal workouts listed on the Core Rythms dance DVD. QVC just put them on sale and Easy Pay last night. I did the dance routine for 10 seconds and immediately felt the burn. It targets love handles, the stomach/abs and basically the entire waistline. It was fun too! Best part is, the DVD has a feature where you can press a button to get a different view so if you're having trouble following along you can switch it so it looks as if you're standing behind them instead of them facing you. I liked that a lot.
