how does VINEGAR HELP and HARM your HAIR?

It doesn't really do anything. It has a temporary effect of adding shine, but the smell is something to be desired. The molecule's in vinegar are to large to penetrate into the cuticle of the hair. so it sits on top of the hair not really doing anything.

It's good for rinsing out buildup, and getting rid of dandruff, but it can dry your hair out, so use a deep-moisturizing conditioner afterwards.
