I have maybe half of my hair has turned curly/small wavy. (BELIEVE ME, IT IS NOT IN A GOOD WAY) is this the result of damage?I use gel, mouse, and such for about 7 years. I dyed my hair twice and got highlights. Also, the hair that is coming out curly is very thick.

It doesn't sound like enough to permanatly damnage it. Theres a change it changed naturally. If you dont like the look you can go into a salon and have it relaxed. Just go to one and ask if they have "hair relaxors" and they should be able to explain it. If they don't know, try another place. Not very many place's have it, but it's worth a shot.
