Going naked is a great leveller, it is almost impossible to be pretentious when all are naked.

rossonero_2006: that would certainly make me think twice I'm sure!

Nope... but it'd mean everyone would have a sudden interest in their church's youth group...

Christian religion would not ever require that. But hypothetically approaching this question, NO, I would not go to that church anymore. I do not have problem being naked, but I am very private person. And my naked body is not for the public display.

This is a fascinating question. Imagine how different our society would be today if St. Paul had counseled the early Christians to practice their religion that way. So if there were a passage in Scripture saying "Go before thy Father as Thou came into the world and without Shame" or something like that.

Of course!
In fact, I just might attend church more frequently!
Theologically speaking, clothes are a remnant of the Fall so ALL Christians -- whose sins have been wiped away by the blood of Jesus -- should be nudists!

I keep telling my Bishop and my Pastor that but they keep not listening.......

Of course... I think I'd wince having to see my VERY overweight 50+ year old pastor preaching naked, but still... no more Offering Time Fashion Shows would make it worth it.

Serving the Living God is about sacrifice. I have given up many things the world offers in service to Him. There are blessings associated with each sacrifice. I'm sure that if Jesus wanted me to go nude, there would be an upside for those who did it of the right spirit.

yes. If all non-christians were required to drink a quart of ex-lax every morning would you remain a non-christian?

(where do they come up with this stuff....)

That's a good question! I'm not religious so I can't really answer for others. Just a good brain teaser.

If I was a Christian, it would not bother me, but my church would probably see a decline in membership....roffle.
